I never desired to have eye problems (as much as I love Warby Parker), but I’m glad I finally know what is wrong. At first, I was getting headaches from staring at my computer, but then when school got rolling I realized I was having trouble seeing the board.
At the very beginning of school when I thought I just had the computer problems the optometrist prescribed me reading glasses. I got them and realized they weren’t helping me the way they should, so I went back in today and she determined I actually have a distance problem.
It’s relieving to know that I wasn’t going crazy looking at the teacher’s black slides with lime green writing and seeing everything blurry. Hopefully once these glasses come I will finally be able to see the board and pay better attention in class.
The optometrist also gave me a small reading prescription, but I’m going to hold off on those (unless I love the Rum Cherry Warbys I ordered for home try-on).
For now, I will anxiously be awaiting the Tenleys (see above). When I worked at Warby I accidentally forgot to take these off after work on a Friday and ended up wearing them the whole weekend. It was fun and I love this frame. I’m looking forward to owning them for real.
